Victor the Toucan

This photograph is a portrait of Victor the Toucan. As a child, in India, I had read about Toucans, but had never seen one of the colorful birds in person. On a trip to Costa Rica I wanted desperately to photograph one. I was very pleased when I did see one on my first visit to the rainforest. I named him Victor.
