French Quarter

The original wooden Creole cottages of New Orleans showcase an ornate French influence. Brick buildings were built later for protection against the fire that destroyed many of the original wooden structures. This print showcases perfectly the wooden buildings standing next to the brick structure, below a fiery red sky, reminiscent of the fires that leveled the city.
