This image was captured in Jonathan Dickinson State Park. It took some time to get the perfect angle for this postcard shot. There is a lot of patience required while waiting. I embraced the silence and was lucky to photograph this proud eagle. The Native American Indian Tribe that lived in the Jonathan Dickinson Park area were called the Jobe. I don't know their word for eagle, but in honor of them and the rest of the Native American Tribes, I have named this print Iphoki. That is the name given the eagle by the Hidatsa Tribe of North Dakota.
